This Privacy Policy describes how Fonte Wine Group, Inc. ("Fonte," "we," "us"), a New York corporation, collects, uses, and shares information in connection with our website at fontewine.com and our Giro field-sales application and related services (together, the "Services"). Giro is business software used by wine importers and distributors ("Customers") and their authorized sales representatives ("Users").

1. Information We Collect

Account information. Name, work email address, phone number, employer, role, and login credentials for Users and Customer administrators.

Customer content. Information that Customers and Users enter into Giro in the course of business, including venue and buyer contact details, account notes, visit check-ins, order and placement records, and photographs captured in the field (for example, shelf and menu placements). This content belongs to the Customer.

Location information. When a User records a check-in, Giro may capture the device's location at the time of check-in to associate the visit with a venue. Location is captured at check-in events, not tracked continuously.

Communications data. If a Customer connects an email or calendar account, we access the data described in Section 3 below.

Usage and log data. Device type, browser, IP address, pages viewed, feature usage, and diagnostic logs, used to operate, secure, and improve the Services.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to provide and operate the Services; to authenticate Users; to sync and display Customer content; to send service communications; to provide support; to monitor, secure, and improve the Services; and to comply with law. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use Customer content for advertising.

3. Google User Data and Limited Use Disclosure

Giro offers optional integrations with Google services, including Google sign-in and, if a Customer enables it, Gmail and Google Calendar access used to draft and send sales correspondence and to log customer communications within Giro.

Giro's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

In particular:

You may revoke Giro's access to your Google account at any time via your Google security settings.

4. Subprocessors and Service Providers

We use a small number of service providers ("subprocessors") that process information on our behalf, under contracts restricting their use of that information to providing services to us:

5. Other Sharing

We may also disclose information: to comply with law, legal process, or enforceable governmental requests; to protect the rights, safety, and security of Fonte, our Customers, or others; in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice; and with a Customer's administrators with respect to that Customer's own workspace and Users. We do not share personal information with third parties for their own advertising or marketing purposes.

6. Data Retention

We retain Customer content for as long as the Customer's account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to permit export, after which it is deleted or anonymized. Account, log, and consent records are retained as needed for the purposes described above and to meet legal obligations.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Users whose data is held in a Customer's workspace should direct requests to their Customer administrator; we will assist Customers in responding. You may also contact us directly using the information below. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising privacy rights.

9. Children

The Services are business software and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy at fontewine.com with a revised effective date and, for material changes, will provide additional notice to Customers.
